Martin Kollar (1971) Born in Žilina in Czechoslovakia (now Slovak Republic), studied at the Academy of Performing Arts Bratislava, the Film faculty, camera department. He has been working as a freelance photographer, cinematographer and director since he has been graduated there.

The cool, invigorating breath that emanates from Martin Kollar’s photographic curiosity jostles the debilitating and rehearsed visions of the former Eastern countries.
