Biography

Taking her personal experiences as a reference, Cansu works on matters like belonging and discrimination against class, culture, gender or sexual identity.
After the series ‘The Dispossessed’ which emerged from her family’s (hi)story, Cansu is now producing audio recordings, videos, and photographs regarding her state of belonging.
