Alessandro Zanoni is a graphic designer based in Milan, Italy. Music and author cinema devourer, he approached photography only a few years ago, receiving some prizes and mentions at several international awards. Alessandro traveled many times across the Far East and South East Asia to realize personal projects about urbanization and city life, and doing travel reportage for magazines. In China, he realized extensive reports on the city of Wuhan, on the urban development of the main cities of Inner Mongolia (a project then has become a book titled ‘The Post-War Dream,’ published by Urbanautica Institute), and on some districts of Shenzhen and Shanghai that are slowly disappearing. His work, mainly focused on the discovery of unusual and desolate urban landscapes, has been published in numerous newspapers including Domus, Life Framer, Vice, Fubiz, Divisare, Photography of China, Creative Boom, Infinite Camera and Style Magazine, with whom he is now a collaborator. Alessandro has exhibited in solo and group exhibitions in Milan, Catania, Naples, Paris, and New York.
